Ross White becomes the first recipient of the Adam Tennant award
Ross has been with the club since he was aged 5. His attitude and enthusiasm for the game has always been outstanding. If we needed confirmation of this it came this season when selected for the Panthers rather than the Sports. For Ross this was a disappointment, but in keeping with his own spirit and (that of Adam) he accepted the decision with good grace and humour. Continuing to be 100% committed, never sulking, and always respecting his coaches and peers he proceeded to play very well for the Panthers becoming their leading goal scorer. On the completion of the Panthers league programme he was transferred to the Sports to strengthen the squad for the last few games. He embodied the 'development' ethos of the Panthers, that Adam so much wanted to achieve. Ross played in some vital league games, scoring and winning a man of the match award. The Adam Tennant award was made to Ross at the end of season gala 17th May. << Back
